What started as a deep love for one Bengal grew into a mission. We wanted to breed Bengal cats that were not just visually stunning, but healthy, confident, and blessed with the affectionate, playful temperament that makes them such wonderful companions. We wanted to share the joy that these magnificent cats bring with other families .
Today, Havens Bengals is the result of that mission. We are a small, family-oriented cattery. We are not a large commercial operation. We are simply a family who lives and breathes Bengals and wants to share that love with you.

We believe that responsible breeding is about more than producing beautiful kittens. It is about health. It is about temperament. It is about being honest, transparent, and committed to the wellbeing of every cat we bring into the world.
We Breed for Health First:
Every cat in our breeding program undergoes comprehensive health testing before they are ever considered for breeding. We test for PRA-b (Progressive Retinal Atrophy) and PK-Def (Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency), and we conduct annual HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy) screenings to ensure our cats are in peak physical condition . We are committed to transparency and provide all health records to our families.
We Breed for Temperament Second:
Bengals should be as affectionate as they are beautiful. We carefully select bloodlines to ensure each kitten has an excellent temperament—confident, outgoing, playful, and loving. Our kittens are raised with love, attention, and daily socialization to ensure they thrive in their forever homes.
We Breed for Beauty Third:
Our focus is on breeding Bengal cats that embody the best of the breed—those who possess the wild look of their ancestors but with the affectionate, playful nature that makes them perfect companions. From classic brown rosetted to ethereal silver and dramatic charcoal, our kittens come in a variety of stunning colors and patterns.

We have only a few litters each year. This allows us to focus on quality, not quantity. Every kitten is raised in our home, surrounded by family, love, and daily activity.
Our Cattery – Where Love Begins
Our kittens are not raised in a kennel or a barn. They are raised in our home, surrounded by family activity, children’s laughter, and daily love.
From the moment they are born, our kittens are part of our family. They are born in a warm, clean, and comfortable nursery in our home. As they grow, they graduate to a larger play area where they can explore, climb, and develop their personalities.
They are handled daily by adults and children, introduced to other friendly cats, and exposed to household sounds and activities. They are socialized from day one, ensuring they are confident, curious, and ready for their new homes by the time they leave us at 12-14 weeks of age.
Our Cats – The Heart of Our Program
Our breeding cats are not just tools for producing kittens. They are our family. They sleep in our bedrooms. They play in our living room. They are loved first and foremost as companions.
Our males are carefully selected for their health, temperament, and conformation. Our females are the heart of our program—they are adored, well-cared for, and allowed to have a limited number of litters over their lifetime. Their health and well-being come before production.
When a female retires, she is spayed and lives out her days as our cherished companion. We owe them that much.
